Spectrum Continues Winning Streak
In the final months of 2005, Spectrum received special recognition from Intermountain Contractor "Best of 2005" for the Spencer F. and Cleone P. Eccles Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB). Spectrum's efforts in technology design, electrical engineering and lighting design earned the award for Best Technology Design / Electrical Engineering Project.
Spectrum's participation on the Eccles Health Sciences Education Building was also recognized bt the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and was presented with an ACEC Engineering Excellence Award.

Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson issued an executive order that City buildings will be LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified, as designated by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Spectrum subsidiary, Total Building Commissioning (TBC) is helping the City to organize a local conference on LEED and sustainable design. more>
